Our Mission

Founded in 2017, Parlor Interiors is a Miami-based interior design firm dedicated to creating highly personal spaces for its clients.  Drawing on the creative team’s broad, collective knowledge of historic and contemporary design and architecture, Parlor’s ethos champions timeless elegance, a commitment to craft, and a creative sensibility that transcends trends. As a result, Parlor’s residences and commercial spaces are modern and distinguished while honoring their varied histories and legacies. They are daring and evocative while staying true to function and to the clients’ vision, individuality, and lifestyle.

Through its work, Parlor elevates and redefines the very practice of interior design by composing a story for each project that captures the true expression of a property, building and customizing its unique volumes, enhancing its interior and exterior textures, producing handcrafted details, and meticulously sourcing lighting, furnishings, vintage pieces and antiquities, and artwork. Led by creative director Taylor Abess, Parlor educates clients in collectible design as a form of art. Parlor currently serves clients throughout South Florida, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and Mexico.
